SUMMER FESTIVAL 06 RAWKS!!!

hmph. so i went for the summer festival at japanese primary school. YAY! its a funfair like thingy. Lots of japanese cuisine and traditional games (Yo-Yo and Swoop A goldfish) and some other stalls selling accessories and other things. Although the summer festival is not as grand as nanyang's food n funfair, i bet it can attract more people if its held at nanyang. =p We got more than 10 coupons for general uses and 1 coupon for main dishes. GUESS WHAT? THEY ARE ALL FREE!!! Everyone who went there that day got it for FREE!!! HOW NICE =D if u want extra, u have to pay...

In the end, i didn't finish up all the coupons. I bought bubble tea (my fave always, h0w can i resist it?) , Yakitori, Cold Udon, Candy Floss. Are that all i've eaten? LOL. i dunno. i still got 5 remaining coupons. I wanted to go for the trying of Yukata but their running out of Yukata when i was there. haiz...disappointed =.= Ohh. and Sensei gave me a "Yo-Yo" that she got at that game stall. She encouraged us to play the games but i find it unless to bring goldfish home...LOL. i dun even have a tank home. I dun want them to die when i get home =) but the yo-yo is nice =] There is a lot of ppl there...mostly in Yukata or maybe some in Kimono. I like the performance by the japanese sch kids. They r so cute ^^. there is hip-hop dance performance, YOSAKI Soran dance, j-pop dance, and folk dance.

Tong was amazed as there are lots of japanese around...i feel like an idiot as i dun understand what they are toking abt -.- I could only catch some of the words but dun understand their sentences. Tong, me and wan ting were wandering around the place. There is a small swimming pool at the sch XD. their sch is quite bigg xP. There were really lots of ppl around. The people there r very friendly. The atmosphere is very HIGH (can i say so?). But its true lah, everyone thinks its very fun... I listened to the opening talk by Mickey n Harumi (the two MCs) and managed to catch a few sentences although i dun rly understand...blehx. hahas.

I reached home at abt 8pm plus. The whole celebration is frm 6pm-8pm. Overall, i enjoy it alot. YEA. JAP, U ROCKZ!!!
